- Storytelling Exercise by Judy Shintani
This storytelling activity started out with template for a story with many sections missing. We went around the circle, with each person filling in different blank spots. Below is the final product our group created. After completing our tale, half of us did a drawing to represent the story, which is also below. The other group acted out the story and performed it for the rest of the group.
- Rufus and The Cheese by Judy, Katina, Leah, Jeanetta, Cesar, and Megan
Long, long ago there was a rabbit named Rufus. He had two friends. One was a squirrel named Sally and the other was a racoon named George. They woke in the middle of the night and they decided to go for a walk to a place close by. They walked into a huge hole filled with cheese. Since it was refridgerated they decided to eat some. So they jumped in the whole to get the chesse. After munching they climbed out of the hole and found wings and flew to Wisconin to start a cheese factory. They reached a fork in the sky and decided to fly down to the lake and go in the hot springs. The night became morning sun and so they went swimming. "Why don't we surf on a piece of hard parmesean?" asked Rufus. So they flew to Hawaii.
