Sharing OER Activity

In this Activity, we will be creating and sharing OER on this wiki page. You have two options for the types of OER you can add to this wiki page.

Option 1:

Add a learning resource (a lesson plan, lab activity, image, video, etc.) you have made and would like to share. You can cut and paste the learning resource to your page and/or upload a file.

Option 2:

Create a learning resource from the Teacher Process Concept Map from Day 1 by writing a description of your concept map. We will upload the files to your page later today.

To create your OER

1. Log in to wiki.oercommons.org
2. Click on your name below
3. Click edit
4. Begin editing your page. You can cut and past text into your wiki page. For additional help formating and adding links to your page, click on Editing help below.
5. Once you are finished editing your page, click Save page

To Upload an image:

1. Click on Upload file on the left
2. Click Browse and select the desired file
3. Fill out the Destination filename you wish to give the file
4. Fill out the Summary section by describing the file (optional)
5. Click Upload file

To add the image to your page:

1. Click edit on your page
2. Click Editing help, then Images. You type the Embedded Image code
3. Click Save page
