Project Description
Green Global Game For A Clean & Sustainable World
This project aims at developing IT-based games which will create awareness on various issues such as transportation, energy, market, food, health, environment.
Project Goals
To create a game-based learning framework that is targeting a green and sustainable world.
Project Objectives
- A web-based games platform that enables to create online games
- Showing the parts of a mobile solar panel
- Demonstrating the working mechanisms of a solar panel
- Teaching how to build one
- A solar panel model which is:
- portable
- individual
- recyclable
- cheap
- long-lasting
- versatile
- intelligent
- A green dollar model
Audience
The various games target different groups of public. For example, it is possible to use the game:
- in schools to support the engagement of the children in the considered themes
- in universities to support discussion and research on energy resources
- in vocational education with craftsmen and -women as well as with industrial workers
- with customers of electric-power producing companies
- with the general public

Project Procedure
The participants of the Start-Up-Workshop wrote themes of concern on small post-its and collected them on a flip-chart.
After clustering the post-its, several focus issues were identified and one of them was chosen as example: GREENWORLD.
The brainstorming on the theme was intented to generate ideas for a new project. As an example of learning game, the design and production of a solar panel was chosen. The development of the game should have produced a portable, individual, universal solar panel that would be easily built by anyone with very limited expenses, and that could be used in any daily situation.
The outcome of these games would encourage the circulation of a green currency that would contrast the current rules of the market by creating a fairer and more enabling environment for green transactions.
